# We've started

April 4, 2026  · Bilfritt Stockholm 

Bilfritt Stockholm now exists as a platform, a community and a voice for everyone who wants to see a city where people come before cars. We’re not a party, not (yet) an association, but a group of Stockholmers who think it’s time to take the streets back.

## What we’ve done so far

We’ve opened [r/BilfrittStockholm](https://reddit.com/r/BilfrittStockholm) on Reddit, where we gather discussions, ideas and support.

We’ve also started experimenting with [Gatuligan](/en/streets/), a small tool where we try ranking inner-city streets based on open data on air, traffic, noise, street life and greenery. It’s still an early experiment, but do check your street.

## What happens next

This is only the beginning. We will:

* Build an argument bank with facts and research
* Collect tips on how you can make a difference, from consultation responses to talking with your local politician
* Work with other organizations pushing the same issues

## Get involved

Whether you cycle, walk, take transit or sometimes drive, your voice is needed. Join [r/BilfrittStockholm](https://reddit.com/r/BilfrittStockholm) and talk with the people around you.

Stockholm can become one of the best cities in Europe to live in. We just need to decide that’s where we want to go.
